Meet Ayla
Yoga Instructor. Pet Sitter. Creator.
Ayla is a San Francisco Bay Area native, raised in Burlingame, CA. She initially discovered the practice of yoga in 2019 during one of the most trying times of her life. Not only did she experience a physical transformation through her practice, she also witnessed a healing of her emotional and mental bodies. Once Ayla experienced the growth and healing yoga has to offer, she knew she wanted to share it with others, and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Yoga Garden SF in 2021. She strives to create a safe, supportive and accessible environment for students of all levels to heal, grow, connect and have fun.  
Ayla has experience leading many different types of yoga, including Basics, Gentle, Chair, Restorative, Yin and Vinyasa flow. She continues to further her education to broaden her perspective and deepen her understanding of yoga and its philosophy. Ayla’s classes are intuitively designed to unite mind and body through the breath (prana, life-force) and include physical asana (poses/postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), mindfulness and meditation. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that once we find healing, transformation and compassion within ourselves, we can find it in our lives as well.

Ayla finds inspiration and nourishment in spending time with animals and children, and provides pet and child care services in addition to her teachings.
